History

The programme was initiated by students of The Poznań University of Economics in 2002. From the very beginning of its existence it aimed at the development of negotiating and interpersonal skills of AEGEE members so that they could perform their tasks more effectively. Soon, due to an enormous interest that was given to the programme, it developed into a much more sophisticated form that is determined by three pillars:

  1. Participation in the project of growing number of students - negotiation's enthusiasts who have a vast experience and knowledge, both in the field of solving conflicts and managing and conducting projects. The continuous raising of qualifications, the participation in trainings and taking part in events connected with negotiations build a unique atmosphere which gives the ANP members a lot of joy and inspiration to work for popularization of negotiation. The trust that the ANP was given by the biggest training companies in Poland, academic personnel which deals with negotiation and the sponsors.
  2. The periodicity of the organized projects, whose aim is the popularization of negotiation as the most effective tool in solving conflicts. In particular:
    • Conference The Negotiation Days

      The ANP biggest pride. The conference has already taken place twice and so far has been very successful. Thanks to it, students from all over the country had an opportunity to raise their qualifications in negotiation as well as improve their communicative techniques when it comes to solving conflicts.
    • The Academic Tournament of Negotiators

      The idea that guided the organization of two openings of ATN enabled the participants to confront their negotiation qualifications, to learn from each other and to select the best ones in the competition. The tournaments were both an inspiration and an incentive to integrate Polish students interested in the field of negotiation.
    • Training Communication and Negotiation

      The series of inside trainings that are organized mainly for the members of European Students' Forum AEGEE. During lasting few days study trips continual negotiation training was conducted.
